St. Croix's only animal air transport program.   We are flying over 40 dogs and cats per month to our 40 Rescue Partners in the 48 states.   Many more pets are awaiting to participate in this life-saving program.

Fly with an animal.  It's easy, we'll take care of all the paperwork and logistics.

PAWS FOSTERING

Think of it as AirBnB for animals.  Volunteers provide socialization and a calm home before pets fly to one of Partner Rescues in the states.

We need volunteers willing to foster animals that are already scheduled to fly.   Short term fostering can be from only one night or up to two weeks.  Please contact us if you are interested.

PAWS CONTROL
Overpopulation is a cruel reality.   "Fixing" cats and dogs provides the long-term ability to control our animals.  Unchecked reproduction leads to unwanted offsprings.

Healing Paws was formed in 2013 and is a registered tax exempt nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a valid certification of good standing from the Lieutenant Governor of the United States Virgin Islands.

The job of saving our island's helpless creatures requires to bring in the whole community.   By focusing on one issue at the time we've been able to partially mitigate the problems of overpopulation, abuse, neglect and abandonment.

Our Board of Directors includes highly motivated individuals contributing their rich background and giving their heart and soul to save lives.

We are working closely with the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center, local veterinarians, foster parents, trainers and volunteers to help the St. Croix community understand the importance of proper animal care, especially spay and neutering.
