The healing paws story

Healing Paws was formed in 2013 and is a registered tax exempt nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a valid certification of good standing from the Lieutenant Governor of the United States Virgin Islands.

The job of saving our island's helpless creatures requires to bring in the whole community.   By focusing on one issue at the time we've been able to partially mitigate the problems of overpopulation, abuse, neglect and abandonment.

Our Board of Directors includes highly motivated individuals contributing their rich background and giving their heart and soul to save lives.

We are working closely with the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center, local veterinarians, foster parents, trainers and volunteers to help the St. Croix community understand the importance of proper animal care, especially spay and neutering.
